In all seriousness, I am working in a hybrid mode – paper planner and paper notebook, Microsoft outlook and Office suite for everything else in the digital environment. I find this allows me to focus and prioritize, while leveraging the communications and collaborations made possible by digital tool sets.
I was hoping you’d reply because I love your hybrid system. Shawn Blanc (of Sweet Setup fame) once suggested to me then theory of digital tools to manage digital life. Digital tools promise me ubiquity. Analog tools promise me locality.
Ahh, OCR. My handwriting is so surgeon-like as to make OCR almost impossible. I sync my notes via Evernote and tag them based on date, client, topic, etc. I find this helps me quickly review and leverage my notes on a daily basis.
I’ve started using the Apple Pencil in Apple Notes during coaching calls. The OCR is pleasantly advanced, even down to underlining dates for potential calendar events.
